Recent studies show that gardening is still the fastest-growing hobby in the US, and wildflower seed gardening is one of the fastest-growing segments of the hobby.AmericanMeadows.com, a leading website for wildflower gardeners, has seen important growth ever since 2005 began. "Our traffic is up over 50% since the year began," says Ray Allen, who with his wife, Chy, founded AmericanMeadows over 20 years ago. The Allens founded the Vermont Wildflower Farm back in 1981 to share their hobby of wildflowers with others. (This summer the Wildflower Farm will be featured on HGTV.)
Now, after that experience, the creation a national seed catalog, and finally, creating a handsome, seed-filled website under their "national" name, AmericanMeadows.com, the couple continues to enjoy introducing more and more gardeners to the easy care world of wildflower meadow gardening. And wildflower seeds is not all they offer now.
"We added flower bulbs last fall, and now have a really unique list of summer-flowering bulbs to plant this spring," says Allen. "Of course, we have glads and dahlias, but we also have some of the hard-to-find species lilies that I think are really the world's most beautiful wildflowers," notes Allen. Allen also points out the flood of press reports now coming in from early spring bloom in the desert Southwest. "Even Death Valley is in bloom this spring, thanks to all the rain out there.
This is going to be a very good year."Visit http://www.AmericanMeadows.com for wildflower seeds for all regions of North America, seeds of 80 individual wildflowers, plus a wide selection of summer-flowering bulbs for home gardens.American Meadows also sells what they call "Favorite Flower Packets" of wildflower seeds for .50 each, and less with quantity.
Their forget-me-nots, daisies, poppies, and wildflower mix packets are favorites with realtors, banks, insurance companies, and other groups for use in spring promotions, employee meetings, and customer mailings. Many companies use the packets as giveaways for Earth Day, April 22..
The benefits of a Low Sodium Lifestyle
A low sodium, low salt diet shouldn't be a burden at all! Personally, I have kept to an "under 1000mg" a day diet with out giving up much but fast food (and who misses that anyway?)
When I was first told that my blood pressure was high ( 160/95) and labeled as having hypertension, I decided at that moment to do some serious research into what had created this "new-to-me" health concern.
I wanted to find a permanent solution to lower the numbers to an acceptable, healthy range without taking medication.
As I reflected on where I was in life at the moment, mid-life, not overweight, but not exercising regularly either, I began making small changes in my day-to-day lifestyle. I was not going to give in to hypertension.
First, I bought a nutritional handbook that lists most foods and their nutritional content. I decided to try and stay under 500mg of sodium daily. This took some work, but it paid off very well.
I had lowered my...

So, Where is the Greener Grass?
Twenty years ago when I left the Ireland, known as the Emerald Isle, I was looking for the place where the grass is greener. We all know that faraway hills are green, and back then I was searching for my greener pastures so I looked faraway.
With a few detours, I arrived in Australia; the Sunburnt country, dry, arid and drought ridden, looking for prosperity. I was looking for the good life of opportunity, beaches, yachts and barbeques.
When I had left Ireland, in the days before Viagra and computer chips were the national exports. Before the Celtic Tiger and double digit economic growth, Ireland's significant exports were its most highly educated and talented doctors scientists, engineers, artists and writers.
There weren't many greener pastures in Ireland back in the early 80's, before the Northern Irish Peace initiative and its attendant changes when Guinness was still marketed as the drink of choice of old men in the darkest corners of dark pubs....

Commercial Litigation Financing
A person who suffers a personal injury caused by another person
can go in for litigation cases. Similarly, companies too are often involved in litigation. The reason can be attributed to the competitive market and ?unfair competitions,' too. Here the simple disputes in the conduct of business and commercial transaction sow the seeds for litigation.
The companies may reach a discord due to various factors. These can be a wrongful termination of an employer or employee, breach of contract, disputes of insurance, partnership, shareholders, bankruptcy and so on.
Such disputes of commercial transactions can affect the business of that company. For instance, one of the two companies involved in partnership joins hands with a third party clandestinely. There is a breach of trust and related damages caused on the other company. This ?cheated' company can file for litigation against its partner company.
Finally, the disputing companies try to...
Add A Gourmet Taste With Cilantro
Cilantro is a common ingredient in salsa and Mexican dishes but did you know it dates as far back as the ancient Egyptians?
Coriander seeds which stem from the same plant as cilantro have been found in Egyptian tombs and writings involving coriander can be seen in Sanskrit which dates from around 1500 BC.
Cilantro is a versatile herb that is is commonly used in salsas, dips, dressings and sauces. This aromatic, citrus flavored herb is a member of the carrot family and can be used dried or fresh. The seeds from this herb are harvested and dried and are known as coriander. The green stems and leaves are the herb known as cilantro.
Cilantro is sometimes sold in the grocery store as something else and if you can't find it in your supermarket try looking for Mexican parsley.
Since cilantro is commonly used in Mexico and Mexican cooking, it is often called Mexican parsley but it is good in other types of cooking as well and you can even...
